  Overall positive experience here. There are a number of Ob-Gyns at the practice and you mostly rotate through them so are likely to have met the person who will deliver your baby. Dr. Anna Neystat in particular was great to deal with, and I felt lucky to have her for delivery, though I believe she no longer works at the practice.

  I thought all of the doctors at NYU Langone Cityscape (32nd and Park Ave) were excellent. I felt that they gave advice based in science and not based on any myths of pregnancy or unrealistic expectations of how a pregnant person should behave (i.e. discussed the pros and cons of small amounts of alcohol so that I could make an informed decision for myself rather than dismissing the question and saying pregnant women should have zero alcohol). There were a few appointments when I had long waits, but overall they were very punctual and attentive when I was there.

  For my six-week postpartum checkup I met with Dr. Lauren Ruggerio at NYU cityscape and she was awesome! Super helpful and informative of everything she was doing, great recommendations and good energy. Will most likely work with her as my doc moving forward! fwiw I have UnitedHealthcare.

  The doctors (al women) are responsive and informative. Some are warmer than others and won’t always ask if you have questions, so you’ll have to speak up, but they will always answer and are thorough. I was completely confident in their care during pregnancy and delivery. The front desk is a pain to work with/get anyone on the phone. The less experienced schedulers will do things like schedule your ultrasound on Tuesday and your dr. visit on Wednesday of the same week. I was making a bunch of appointments at the time so I didn’t realize. One of the doctors changed this when she saw it in my chart.

  It's a group practice, so you see all of the doctors throughout your pregnancy. I really love Dr. Gratch and Dr. Talib. Dr. Rosenberg was on call when I finally had my c-section. She is all business and a straight shooter. The office itself is always busy. The front desk staff is always busy and can be a little short, but I think they just need more people. The nurses and assistants are all great.

  As a practice, Cityscape was fine. They were efficient and I rarely waited more than a few minutes when I booked my appointments first thing in the morning. I didn’t like the first doctor I met with at all who I had all of my first 5ish months of appointments with. I found her to be dismissive of my questions and pretty aggressive when I asked for more explanation than she gave initially. I really liked most of the other doctors I met once I started rotating through the practice- ended up delivering with Dr. Neystat who was great- listened, communicates well, and made me feel included in the process and decision making.

  We also used Cityscape OBGYN which is associated with NYU Langone. We ended up with Dr. Gratch who was awesome but we also met with Ruggiero, Rosenberg and the rest of the Dr’s at Cityscape. I’d definitely recommend them!

  While their facilities are bright, clean, and updated, CityScape OBGYN left something to be desired. I would see a different doctor each visit, and while I have no problem seeing each doctor on staff, I often felt that information would fall through the cracks between doctors and visits. At times a test requested with one doctor would not be completed by the time I visited the next. Oftentimes I felt more like a number in a high-volume practice. Halfway through my second trimester, I wound up having medical issues that further complicated my pregnancy. These issues, on top of my lack of confidence in CityScape's attention to detail, led me to move to another practice for the remainder of my term. While I think that CityScape would likely be acceptable for a low-risk pregnancy that does not require much management, their lack of personal touch, detail, or warmth would make me recommend that women seek their medical care elsewhere.

  I have had two miscarriages (and two healthy pregnancies) and very much understand the feelings associated with loosing a much wanted pregnancy. I use Cityscape OBGYN. They deliver at NYU and accept Aetna. It's a 4 person group practice. You won't get hours and hours of individual attention, but you will be treated like a woman and you will be heard and cared for. Because they are a group practice they require you to cycle through all the providers when you are pregnant so there are no surprises on delivery day. However, to get started you can ask to see Dr Sahani (and potentially book the first few appointments with her once you have a confirmed pregnancy). She was very sensitive when I had my second miscarriage. She followed up with me several times, called me at 9pm at night because she knew I was eager for results, is caring and allowed me to feel my feelings.

  I've been going to this practice for 10 years and have had really positive experiences with a number of different gynacological issues. My pregnancy was unplanned and so I just went with the flow and stayed with this practice. Generally I was satisfied with the care. There were a couple of test results that I don't think were properly explained which led to some anxiety. My main issue was over-testing. Because of my age and history I was having two weekly check ups from 20 weeks. Which I found a bit much given that I actually had a very easy pregnancy. I sometimes felt that I was being treated against a set of indicators and risk factors (eg pre eclampsia) rather than as a holistic individual with my own individual story. Possibly if I'd planned to get pregnant I may have been more pro active about seeking out a midwife. In terms of the birth experience the doctor on call was great. Really supportive and explained everything and made me feel very confident and in control. So overall pretty positive. Member notes about insurance: I'm from the UK and find the whole approach to medicine in this country an absolute outrage. I could write an entire essay on this subject. Healthcare in this country is not see as a public good - which is especially horrific when it comes to pre natal and early infant care. My insurance has been fine and has been accepted by all my providers but the more general point about who and how we get access to basic health services is massively inefficient. For example, until she gets put on my group plan (which my employers have been slow to do because of technical problems)my 4 week old daughter owes the hospital 11 thousand dollars.   REVIEW: I really did enjoy my visits, the office was friendly, and it was really in and out for the most part. I really wanted to have as natural a birth as possible. There are 4-5 drs in the practice (all women) and I never really got to know any of them (a few dr's came and went during my pregnancy, which was a little weird - seems like there's a lot of turnover there). Everytime I tried to discuss my birth plan, the drs would say, ok, we can just discuss it on the day. Which I guess makes sense, because the idea of a birth plan is really for the parents to work out, so we have a game plan on the day that we can talk to the dr about. Only one dr, Dr. Warsheski, actually entertained me about it. I saw her the week of my due date, and she happened be on call that weekend, so I was so happy when i went into labor, knowing it would be Dr. Warsheski who was delivering me. She was kind, and receptive to everything we asked for. I got to the hospital 8cm dilated already, so i was a really easy quick labor. But I really enjoyed her bedside manner - she isn't overly precious, nor short, she's just simply to the point, and not panicked or pushy. There was an issue with the heart rate, but she didn't alarm me about it, she was very calm. I was very happy I had her. The other drs in the practice, I don't think I feel as good about. Maybe I'm wrong, but i did not have a good impression of some of the other drs (and at this point, i don't even remember which exactly), so I don't know how to review the whole practice, but I really liked Warsheski. INSURANCE no issues with insurance...I had Oxford, then switched to UnitedHealthcare in the middle of my pregnancy. no problems at all. Based on a May 2015 birth

  REVIEW: I know this practice gets some complaints given how busy their office is, but I loved Dr Warsheski and Rosenberg and would highly recommend them. Dr Warsheski in particular was awesome during my delivery and fought hard for me to get a delivery room when NYU had run out and was jammed up. Saved me from having to deliver in an operating room.
