SHSAT prep recommendations? We used the group classes at City Smarts and really liked them. We found them through word of mouth because for some reason they haven’t figured prominently in PSP recs even though they are supposed to have some of the best statistics in the city in terms of SHSAT prep. (Again this is word of mouth info.) They keep their classes pretty small, and we thought the pricing was very reasonable. We also thought they are very thoughtful about their courses and don’t try to oversell things. For example, when I asked one of the owners after the mock test whether our daughter needed a couple of sessions of private tutoring, he said he didn’t think that was necessary given her score and the schools she was interested in.
