  • ISO childbirth education classes

We had a really great experience with Carriage House We did the express class (actually around this time last year - we have a 9 month old now) which felt like a really great overview of what kinds of things to expect. They also have a ton of resources like doula lists and support groups.

What month and year was your child born? July 2022 Review: We did the in person childbirth express class and found it very informative and helpful.

What month and year was your child born? July, 2022 Review: I found this class really useful and a very nice complement to the care I got at Oula. She explained the process of birth and all the different options really well and along the way emphasized where we had choices and how we could advocate for ourselves.

No issues with the provider or instructor, I just didn't really find this useful. We did it over Zoom which just doesn't translate well to this kind of class.
  • Review from the Spring 2022 Birthing Survey

Attended an in person class here pre-Covid. I learned a lot! About what happens during the birth process, newborn care basics, and how to get through labor. They do lean towards no epidurals but I spoke to instructor about it (I was set on getting one) and she gave me helpful info.
  • Birthing Classes

My husband and I did the Carriage House express birth preparation class a few weeks ago--there were only 3 other couples. It's a three hour class as opposed to stretched out over 2 days, I believe. We are also doing a newborn care class with them next week. We found it informative! Additionally, we've found it super helpful to have a doula at this time. She's been great about filling in the blanks/answering more specific questions.
  • Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

I learned a lot from this class, esp the biology of birth that I was never told. They skew a little anti-epidural but not too much.

Review: Lindsey is amazing. She's a powerful mama of 6, I believe, a former model, and a thoughtful, fun person. Talking about our options really helped us know what to expect. She also was great at texting and being encouraging when I had a few days of early labor. She was also flexible and great about her cost, which was really nice. Overall, I'd HIGHLY recommend her. Insurance: No. Based on a 2015 birth
