REVIEW: Mestre Foca is a kind, dedicated and gifted teacher. His classes challenge the mind and body. He slowly builds confidence and strength in his students over the course of the semester. While the students develop discipline through their training, the classes are always fun and the kids are always engaged either by the movement, the music or learning a new language in Portuguese. Mestre Foca has also built a strong community of students that truly enjoy Capoeira. It's a great multi discipline class. Skills learned: confidence, agility, strength, discipline, Portuguese language What would you change? The studio has seen better days, but the space itself is hard to beat. Age of child: 6
