  How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 8 & 6 Review: This camp was a truly awful experience, one that my kids are still somewhat traumatized by, and their friends refused to go the whole week. My daughter went without lunch on the first day (lunch was included) because the older children took more than their share; they were sunburnt when they finished the day as no one told them to reapply sun screen; they were taken to Prospect Park lake for ‘fishing’ and caught a turtle; they lost items of clothing; they were taken to a filthy beach that my children described as ‘mud’, and again got sunburnt. Instead of activities they watched movies some days, and they finished camp about an hour early and were kept in a windowless room waiting for pick up. When I wrote to Elliot, the director, about some of the above concerns, he ignored my email, and was very dismissive when I spoke to him in person. He also sent me an aggressive email telling me I owed money (which he later admitted was a mistake). This camp is the worst we’ve ever been to, quite simply, a disgrace. What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? It should not be running, in my opinion.
