  What month and year was your child born? May 2023 Review: Cady and her partner, Hannah Gray, provided invaluable support throughout our journey. Their prenatal education courses armed us with knowledge we needed to form our preferences and head into birth feeling confident and empowered in our vision. Cady’s in person support during birth was priceless and was crucial in achieving a positive experience despite many deviations from what we’d hoped for. Her postpartum care was also so appreciated, particularly in navigating all of the many questions we had about breastfeeding. Enthusiastically recommend! Any advice for people who are considering using a birth doula? Don’t hesitate! Far and away the best investment we made in our pregnancy and birth journey.

  Birth Doula: Cady Mcvay + Hannah gray What month and year was your child born? September 2022 Review: Hiring them was the single best thing we did to prepare for our birth. We felt informed and supported by their frank delivery of knowledge and guidance. We felt ready to the induction as they walked us thru every single thing that would happen with acute accuracy. We had a much more pleasant and predictable experience because of them, Any advice for people who are considering using a birth doula? 100% do it, having someone in your corner who knows more than you…it’s invaluable. I knew I wanted an epidural and any other medical interventions available to me. The doulas got to know me / my wishes and was sure to prompt me to do what I needed to get what I thought I wanted and we’re there every step of the way to educate us on other options as things progressed

  We used Cady as a post-partum doula and she was very helpful. She came about 5 times and helped us with the transition to parenthood from how to bath the baby, swaddle tips, bottles, baby wearing and more. She also would watch the baby when she came so we could take a much needed nap and she would tidy up around the house. Allie was really comfortable with her which made us feel secure in taking a nap. She also was really accessible online so we had a whatsapp group and she provided tips and advise when we had a late night non-stop crying session. She is also a lactation consultant so helped with latching and positions in the begining. She was really kind and caring and fitted well with our family.
