Review from the 2022 Summer Camp Survey
Location: Prospect Park How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 9 and 10 Review: The camp counselors were great. They were present (not on phones playing video games or watching YT). They taught baseball drills and encouraged team effort. Would you like to add anything related to COVID and how the camp handled it? They kept social distancing in 2021 and abided by NY law and Covid restrictions/protocols.2018 Summer Camp Reviews
Counselors were young and friendly. Location was nice. However, my son plays on a baseball team, and was looking for drills and activities to improve his baseball play, and we didn't get that with Bulldog. He only played one position, hit off a tee for a day, played with mixed ages so there were 6-10 year old's playing on a team together, and didn't feel like there was enough baseball. It felt more like a camp for kids who casually like baseball but not those obsessed with it. Also, they didn't have a formal sign in or out system other than saying hi or bye to a counselor. I talked to them about and they said they would look into options.Review from 2013 Summer Camp Experience
Age of Child: 8 Likes: LOTS of baseball What would you change? There's virtually no swim or water time (I think they played with water balloons 1x) and it was HOT. Would you send your child(ren) again? Yes Do you recommend? Recommend Do you have any other information to add? My son attended for 6 wks but I won't do that again--same routine day in/day out & he got bored & very hot outside every day with no alternative.
