Last year we went down to Brooklyn Terminal Market for ours and were really impressed! The prices were less than what we were seeing within walking distance and the tree lasted longer - so we went again this year! You do need a car - from what I could see the prices ranged from $80-120 + we also tip whoever helps as they always tie it to the roof of the car for us. There's a big Christmas store inside as well if you need additional things - my sons enjoy walking around and looking at all of the displays.
