I would love to recommend a small studio right off of Vanderbilt called Brooklyn People’s Pottery. It’s the production studio of a wonderful artist named Alice Goldsmith and she hosts classes in the evening and has a small amount of memberships available. I think she would be open to glazing/firing for a neighborhood potter.
