Looking for art class for 9 year old

the Brooklyn Museum has art classes and they're outstanding we enjoyed the walk over on Saturdays in the fall, would stop at farmers market at grand army plaza and often hang in the brooklyn botanic garden (and the museum itself) while the kiddos were in class. just got an email from them last week about fall offerings. my kids took many classes there and never had a bad one

We have an older child (4 yo) and we’ve really enjoyed the Family Art Magic classes at the Brooklyn museum this fall and winter. May be different teachers for different ages, but they have a pretty well-organized program with professional early childhood art educators, so I imagine the younger programs would also be good.

we sent our two oldest kids there for at least 4-5 semesters and always had a great experience didn't know they had classes for kids as young as 2.5, but all of their programing has been excellent
