Adding one more same-day crown recommendation to the archive: Call Brooklyn Mint Dental! Pacific and 4th Ave. Dr Alice is my favorite dentist of all time. I’m going [this month] and one of the procedures is for a crown which they’ll do same day. the whole experience at Brooklyn Mint is just the ideal of a dentist visit experience. 4 stars.Experience with Bococa Dental or Brooklyn Mint?
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Alice at Brooklyn Mint Dental! The office is beautiful, the entire staff is lovely, and Dr. Alice is communicative, patient, thorough, accessible, and so kind. If your daughter—or anyone else who happens to be reading this—is a nervous dental patient (like I am...), the practice also rightfully prides itself in creating a non-judgmental and super supportive environment with helpful tools like weighted blankets, TVs with headphones, etc.Dentist choices
Dr. Alice Hoang at Brooklyn Mint is the best!! She sees both adults and children. The practice is relatively new (though Dr. Alice is experienced!) and is on Pacific right by the Atlantic subway station.Urgent dental appointment
I just went to Brooklyn Mint Dental (https://www.brooklynmintdental.com/ ) for the first time and i recommend them! Dr. Alice is amazing and so is the staff. Very convenient near Atlantic Terminal, and super nice office with all the amenities (even a kids playroom!).- Dr Alice at Mint Dental is great for this. Alice will absolutely be happy to chat by email in advance and even do an office visit before booking. She is very happy to take things slow and is totally non-judgemental for folks who have taken a hiatus from dental care. She’s got lots of strategies and tools for ppl who are neurodivergent (ptsd, autism, etc) and well equipped to support!

I second Dr. Alice and her partner Dr. Chris at Brooklyn Mint Dental. Their studio is gorgeous and both doctors are kind, thorough, non-judgmental, and skilled practitioners. Dr. Alice did the least painful filling I’ve ever had! And did I mention non-judgmental? This is the only office I’ve ever been to that offered coffee as a beverage option in the waiting room… they get it.ISO really solid dentist

Doctor Alice at Mint Dental up by Barclays is amazing. Check out her practice! I’ve had the most horrible luck finding a dentist that will make me feel like I’m in good hands and will work to reduce or eliminate invasive treatments. dr Alice is just that—and goes beyond to make sure her office’s environment is peaceful and collaborative, parent/child friendly, anything you could hope for. I don’t have dental insurance, so can’t speak to that part of the process—but I will say she was more than happy to have a free consult/meeting to discuss the business model, dive deep into my concerns, and be super thorough and explicit about pricing etc. I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.Dentist shout-out: Alice Hoang
From my husband: I would like to recommend my dentist, Dr. Alice Q. Hoang, to the PSP community. It was through PSP that I heard of Dr. Hoang, and I am so glad I switched to her. In addition to her competence, she is an unusually creative practitioner who really cares about her patients and is unafraid to try different approaches. Hands down, Brooklyn Mint Dental, which recently opened. One of the main dentists was a favorite at a popular practice here in Park Slope, and went off to found Brooklyn Mint. I was just about to write a shout out for them. I've seen Dr. Hoang and Dr. Bowers who are equally fantastic, but the office itself is also pretty remarkable, almost like a day spa. They do so much for the community, too. It's up near Barclay's and more than worth it!!
