Physical therapist for back issues
Highly recommend Brooklyn Health PT. I went there twice for a fractured ankle (I twisted it almost exactly a year after fracturing it ??♀️). They’re great and have really good hours (super early and late).Physical Therapist in the Slope?
I saw Matt Iselin at http://brooklynhealthpt.com/ for my knee. He's the best (and also a Park Slope dad)!Physical Therapist in the Slope?
I had a great experience at Brooklyn Health Physical Therapy last spring, after aggravating an old knee injury. My main PT there was Mike, and he was excellent. although the other therapist I saw a couple of times there, depending on scheduling needs, was also good. They accepted my Aetna Medicare Advantage Plan. In any case, i think this facility would meet your expectations. It's also a nice, large, sunny space.PT for pelvic prolapse
Alissa Yarkony at Brooklyn Health PT is wonderful. 3 years postpartum and many dr’s appts later, I had almost given up. Thanks to Alissa, I’m stronger and more attuned to my body than pre baby, and most importantly my pelvic floor issues are almost completely gone.Pelvic floor therapy recs?

I’m a prenatal and postpartum fitness instructor and dealt with severe diastasis after the birth of my 1st. In my personal experience, the only experts I would trust on diastasis recovery are pelvic floor specialized & diastasis program certified physical therapists. I would highly recommend reaching out to Brooklyn Health PT to see if they are offering virtual consultations. I also like the Mutu System (all online).PT rec for pelvic floor work?
I went to Brooklyn Health PT on 20th Street and met with Judith Fried. She was great and my insurance covered the cost - I just had to get a referral from my OB. She also specializes in diastasis recovery and can check you during your appointment if you like (and provide exercises for diastasis and pelvic floor to do from home). I like that they have three women on staff that specialize in postpartum recovery and pelvic floor. I also liked that Judith comes in at 7 AM, so I could feed the baby before my appointment, take a car there, and still get home in time to take my toddler to school drop-off. Let me know if you have any questions!Spine surgeon and PT recommendations please

Gopi at Brooklyn health physical therapy made a world of difference for me![ANONYMOUS] Postpartum vaginismus
I am so sorry you are experiencing this. I got great physical postpartum help from Gopi at Brooklyn Health Physical Therapy (she takes insurance too, though I’m not sure about GHI). I can’t recommend a mental health provider but the podcast “The longest shortest time” has done a series of episodes about birth injuries that I have found empowering. Here’s one example: https://longestshortesttime.com/podcast-49-healing-after-childbirth/[PSPBeingFit] Looking for a Post Partum PT for Knee and Diastases
You’re going to get a hundred recommendations for Gopi at Brooklyn Health PT. (She’s on 20th between 3rd and 4th, so not in the exact area you’re looking for, but close.) she’s amazing and I saw her for a couple months after I had a pretty bad diastasis with my second baby. She’s excellent. Helped me tremendously. Also gave me a lot of good modifications for yoga. Feel better soon!Review submitted via the Park Slope Parents 2017 Birth Survey

Brooklyn Health Physical Therapy—pelvic floor therapists. I'm still a relatively new patient, but so far very pleased with their practice. They're the first people I've spoken to who think they can help me heal an old tailbone injury that was aggravated by childbirth. Based on an October 2017 birthRe: Recommendation for physical therapy during pregnancy

I started seeing Gopi at Brooklyn Health PT to deal with diastasis recti when I was about 7 or 8 weeks postpartum. She was thorough in analyzing my case (which wasn't severe) and great at explaining the exercises -- both in terms of what I needed to do and how they would help me. She tailored the exercises to fit my abilities and provided me with homework to continue once my PT sessions ended. I saw positive results in a very short amount of time. Overall, she was very knowledgeable, easy to work with and good at getting results.(no subject)
