I had a really good experience at Brooklyn Frameworks. I wouldn't call it cheap, but the quality is very high and they ended up turning the work around quicker than expected

I have gotten a few simple frames at Brooklyn Frameworks on 5th (they primarily do art framing, but have a small selection of picture frames). I might call before going though.

Thank you everyone for your recommendations. I ended up going with Brooklyn Frameworks on 142 5th Ave. They seemed very nice.

I highly recommend Brooklyn Frameworks on 5th Avenue between Sterling and St. Johns. They are professional, courteous, timely, creative, and do outstanding work. I use them personally and for all of my framing needs for my fine art portrait business. (July 2014)
