Both my kids & I go to Brooklyn Dermatology (now The Dermatology Specialists) on Atlantic Avenue. One kid sees Dr. Choudhury (who's male) for acne (and it's helped), and the other kid and I have seen Dr. Noorollah (who's female) for sensitive skin/rashes/etc. Both have good "bedside manner" and have been very helpful.
