  • Review from the 2023 Summer Camp Survey

Location: Carroll Gardens How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 2 year old and 3 year old went Review: My 3 year old went multiple weeks (each one has a different theme) and loved it. The space itself is engaging because it’s a fully equipped play space, and they also went to the park each day. He had a blast every time. Our 2 year old also went one week when our nanny was out, and while he had a tough time transitioning the first day (he had never been in an environment outside of home/nanny) by the end of the week he was walking in without even saying goodbye. They even got him to nap (in his stroller) which I appreciated, and were very easy to communicate with via email. Most weeks were easy to book relatively last minute (except toward the end of the summer when people needed the late August/first week of September care and it booked fast, so we weren’t able to get a slot), so it is also great option if you’re looking for last-minute care. What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? As the summer went on the themes seemed to be a little more loose and not closely followed—for pirate week, he came home with multiple pirate-themed crafts, for example, but not for space week, and he couldn’t tell me anything space-related they did—but this info is coming from a 3 year old who isn’t a very reliable narrator. He always had a great time regardless. Only other thing is I’d love a full-day option next summer. Currently 3 is the latest pickup.
  • Parents Night Out options

Brooklearn in Cobble Hill has this - my 5 year old thinks it’s the best party in town. The owners are so great and have two small children themselves who usually attend. It’s the same caregivers and my son has built a relationship with them and is so comfortable there.
