  • ISO female gyn recommendation

I love Brina Maldonado at Spring OB Gyn, in SoHo! She’s the founder of the practice and the only doctor there that doesn’t deliver babies (retired from that) but I had a great experience delivering (at NYU) with another doctor in the practice and now I see her for my annuals. She’s got a great bedside manner and she’s really cool, funny and laid back in addition to being a thoughtful, careful, and thorough doctor.
  • Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

Her beside manner during my pregnancy wasn't great: she wasn't a good listener and seemed distracted. But at our delivery, she was wonderful, attentive and positive.
  • Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

Dr M is part of a wonderful practice with caring and smart doctors. She is not an alarmist, she’s kind, patient, smart and reassuring. All the doctors are incredible. The admin staff and nurses are supportive and helpful. Never a long wait. Not hard to get an appointment. They all helped me through some tough times. My insurance was chosen based on what they accept. When my first was born she had to go to the NICU, Dr M INSISTED that my parents who had just driven down from Montreal and were in the waiting room come meet the baby in the delivery room before taking her to the NICU...
  • Anyone deliver at NYU & can recommend a great OB?

I delivered my first at NYU (and will do the same with my second in a few months) with Spring OB/GYN. I have only had great experiences with the practice and they were especially supportive during tough times. I'm almost positive they accept Aetna but give them a call. My main dr is Dr. Maldonado but I've met most and they're fantastic.
