Billy Villano of Brooklyn Acupuncture is fantastic. He was instrumental for helping my labor get started. Plus he takes most insurance! Good luck!Based on a 2014 Birthing Experience
Member Review: I went to him four times and I am pretty sure the sessions helped ease the delivery. It was amazing. The last session actually sped up labor! Insurance details: No (Review submitted via the 2014 Birthing Survey)[ANONYMOUS] Need Brooklyn-based help for morning sickness
I'm so very sorry you're going through this. The only relief I found from my all-day sickness was for a few days after each acupuncture session (specifically acupressure/massage around my occiput) with Billy Villano at Brooklyn Acupuncture: www.brooklynacupuncture.com. He is gentle, funny, and really good. Though I've not worked with her, his wife Zoe (at the same practice) is also supposedly great.Re: Can anyone recommend a local Ob/Gyn and Acupuncturist?
For acupuncture, I really recommend Billy Villano at Brooklyn Acupuncture. Took great care with me during fertility treatment and even made house calls after my embryo transfers. Right in center Slope on President and 5th.Re: Does anyone know a good place for Acupuncture in Park Slope?
Highly recommend Billy Villano Brooklyn Acupuncture(no subject)
I went to Brooklyn Acupuncture just a few weeks ago and saw Billy and he was wonderful, he's just very smart and intuitive and obviously loves what he does. I'd highly recommend him and apparently his partner Zoe is great, too. I went a few days before my labor started and also during early labor. By the end of the session my contractions, which had been start-stop all day, were strong and regular. I'm not totally sure if the session caused that, but I know that getting out of my house, relaxing, and having an endorphin release didn't hurt. I'd be happy to fill you in more about my experience. (May 2012)(no subject)
I had a good experience--at my first session at about 36 weeks, i felt the baby drop while i was on the table. The sessions also helped with the various aches and pains of late pregnancy. I highly recommend it. I went to Billy Villano at Brooklyn Acupuncture... (june 2010)
