Review from the 2024 Summer Camp Survey
Location: 117 Bridge Park Drive REVIEW: My son loves BBB. There is a great staff to camper ratio, lots of individual attention in helping learn biking and skateboarding. He got lots of movement in, and there are also ample mellower moments - reading, block building, etc. he came home tired and happy every day. CHANGES: The hours are really tough for working families. This summer camp was 9:30-1:30 with no extended day option. I would love for them to offer longer hours and/or before and after camp hours. This would make multiple weeks much more doable for us. Location: 117 Bridge Park Drive in Brooklyn Bridge Park How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 5 Review: The space is amazing, kids love it. They have an indoor pump track for skate and bike lessons, and they take them outside some, too, for lunch and play. They read, but I did not hear much about that from my child! There is also a DJ booth, crafts/games and other fun activities. My child rated as one of his favorite camps of the summer. What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? It is one of the more expensive camps we've come across.Review from the 2023 Summer Camp Survey
Location: Brooklyn Bridge Park, near Pier 6 How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 4 Review: Camp was great, my son had a wonderful time. It was a good blend of physical activity (biking and skateboarding) and other activities like blocks, art, and reading. He came home each day talking about what he did, the instructors, and the other kids. What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? The hours (9:30-3) were a bit challenging for us as a family with two full time working parents. An option for extended day would have been really helpful and we would have sent my son there for more weeks if they had offered that.
