I recommend Beth Manitsky who has been working with my daughter for 2 years. We started working with Beth when my husband and I separated. Beth has been supportive to my daughter and to help me build some skills to help her cope with the divorce. She has also supported us in getting a neuropsych evaluation and continues to support us with the recent diagnosis. She is fun and creative and find ways to connect with my daughter so that she has learned healthier coping strategies. All of my daughter’s sessions are in person but Beth also does online sessions for older kids and adults. My daughter feels comfortable going to see her and after meeting her the first time never resisted going there.
  • Therapist to help with co-parenting

I can recommend Beth Manitsky. She was my son's therapist during a rough patch last year and she really helped. She sees both children and adults and her rates are reasonable.
  • Beth Manisky LCSW

Beth was my son's therapist for about a year. My kid was diagnosed with ADHD and had severe anxiety. Beth helped him navigate a lot of the feelings and issues that came up. Her familiarity and experience with ADHD is extremely helpful. She also helped us navigate some of the changes that were happening at home for him. She is supportive, insightful and definitely makes herself available when needed. She is also very flexible and understanding when it comes to scheduling challenges. Beth really helped get my kid back to his happy stable self and I highly recommend her!

Beth saw my tween son for a couple years and was fantastic. He felt like he needed someone to talk to about his anxiety, about being an older brother and more. She developed a great basis of trust with him and was really helpful. He told me he enjoyed talking to her and she helped him find tools and ways for navigating through his feelings. She was also really good at checking in with me regularly. She is down to earth and funny. I would highly recommend Beth to any tween or teen who is looking for a therapist.
  • Review from the 2021 Therapist Survey

During what time span have you seen this therapist? Sept 2020- present Type of therapist: Psychologist What kind of patients does this therapist see? Older Children (pre-teens), Younger Children, Teens, Adults (individual therapy) In-person, Zoom, or telephone therapy? Zoom/Video therapy, In-person therapy Briefly describe the reasons you decided to seek help: I needed someone to unload all of my covid-era frustrations, disappointments etc onto and friends/family weren’t cutting it (they all had their own stuff to deal with.) She has also been a great help in dealing with family issues, the challenge of easier vs more difficult children, and a big career transition. Does the therapist take insurance, and if not, how has your experience been with filing claims? I pay out of pocket as our insurance has minimal coverage for out-of-network and it doesn’t seem worth the paperwork for what we would get. Review: She was an ideal therapist for me as she reentered the work force in a new career after a long break staying home with kids. She balances just being a friendly ear and even sharing her own experiences with gently pushing me towards getting to the real issues. She seems very adaptive as this was very much the kind of therapy I wanted - I wanted a weekly outlet, not to get into big emotional stuff every single week.
  • Beth Manitsky, LMSW-Psychotherapist - kids and adults

Beth has been instrumental in helping me (adult working mom) work through a particularly rough patch. She brings special understanding to parenting children with special needs, and has guided us through a process of better supporting and understanding our kid. Her approach (in my case anyway) feels something like coaching grounded in a psychoanalytic framework. I feel deeply understood and supported through our work together. She's also funny, grounded and practical. Highly recommend.
