ISO recs for drop in toddler playspace or weekday class for the winter in North Slope or Prospect Heights
Congregation Beth Elohim has a great baby/toddler drop in Tues-Fri in the fall/winter/spring.Playspace
CBE is awesome!! We absolutely love it there. If it were only open in the afternoon!! It is a huge great space with tons of fun stuff to do and really nice people. I highly recommend it for the AMs.Re: ISO winter toddler play space (paid or free)
Beth Elohim on 8th ave and Garfield has an excellent play space. Open Tues- fri 9:15-12 noon It's $12 for non members , which I'm not. $10 for numbers of the temple although I'm not sure what that entails. It's huge (a gym) with climbing structures ,soft foam to climb , riding toys and cars, a wall full of every toy imaginable and even 3 art tables with play- doh, markers etc. I'm not affiliated in any way but was just so happy to find it this winter and wanted to spread the word. There are always toddlers there but not too many. I've only been twice and seen about 5 children each time. Also, the staff is very nice and will play with / watch your child if you need to step out of the room. It's clean and they even put out snacks :)Re: ISO winter toddler play space (paid or free)
Beth Elohim (8th avenue and Garfield) has a great drop in playspace Tuesdays through Fridays - from 930-12. The actual calendar is on their website and it's $12 for non synagogue members.(no subject)
A nice drop in center with tons of toys, a little open gym area and art corner, and even a snack buffet (they don't allow feeding your child with your snacks in the playspace) -Tuesday through Friday, 9:15 a.m. -12:15 p.m and it's 10$ a visit- you can buy a pass as well. Also, unless it changed, on Wednesdays, Debbie, our favorite music teacher has 15 min. sing along.
