  • Review from the 2021 Therapist Survey

During what time span have you seen this therapist? July 2020 to present Type of therapist: Neuropsychology and Psychotherapy What kind of patients does this therapist see? Adults (individual therapy), Families In-person, Zoom, or telephone therapy? Zoom/Video therapy, In-person therapy Briefly describe the reasons you decided to seek help: Anxiety, anger issues, parental coaching Does the therapist take insurance, and if not, how has your experience been with filing claims? No. I did not seek reimbursement (but I should look into that...) Review: Dr. Nightengale guided me though anger and depression from parenting a two-year old in a pandemic after getting laid off. We made a lot of progress with anger and fixing the relationship and could have ended there, but we ended up continuing to get through the job search process, then back to potty training and other discipline issues, occasionally with my spouse joining in, and now with on-the-job stress.
  • Need parenting coach/therapist

I have two therapists I love: Mark Ryan for my son and Beryl Nightingale for my daughter. They both have been a huge support to us all as a family. Middle school was tough for both my kids, and they individually struggle with anxiety and depression. In my experience, it can be tough to find someone with availability. I had to make a million phone calls, and then we had to be patient to wait for a spot to open up. I do recommend meeting with a therapist before your child does to see if you even think they might be a fit for you and your family. There are all different kids of therapists, and it's almost like finding a the right partner. (November 2019)
