Location: Berkeley Carroll School, Lincoln Place REVIEW: This was our 3rd year back - loved the staff, the activities, the variety of the classes and the consistency of a 5 week program. Expensive but worth it. CHANGES: Not start the week of July 4th, so that families that wish to travel that week/over that holiday dont lose out on the entire week of activity while still having to pay for it. OR allow families who are traveling to only pay for the 4 weeks they use. DETAILS: Age of child; 10 years old and 11.5 years old … Weeks attended: 5Review from the 2022 Summer Camp Survey
Location: Lincoln Place How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 7 Review: My kid had a blast at this camp! It was well organized, with a nice variety of activities. The camp did a great job of building a community over 3 weeks. We were impressed! What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? NothingReview from the 2022 Summer Camp Survey
Location: Berkeley Carroll buiding on Lincoln Pl How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 7 Review: Our child loved this camp. He loved the swim classes (and his swimming improved dramatically) as well as many of the arts classes. The camp does a great job of creating a sense of community. The facility is great as well.Review from the 2017 PSP Summer Camp Survey
My daughter adores this camp. It's her 4th summer. She loves the ability to choose her activities, the classes/activities, the structure, the facility, her CITs, and even the food. If you could change anything, what would it be? CAP bills itself as a 5 week program. The last week is only 3 days long. This year, presumably because of the holiday, the first week was also only three days long. It is a pretty expensive program and for the price I would love five full weeks. Age of child: 10 Review: my daughter loved the camp--it is her third year there. It's got a great community feeling, you get to choose your own schedule and it has a lot of excellent offerings in the arts--dance, music, theater, ceramics, building dollhouses, photography etc. and sports--swimming, soccer, basketball, creative sports. CITs are high school kids and a lot of fun.Summer Camp Survey 2016
Age of child: 10 Review: This is my daughter's third summer at CAP and she loves it more every year. The instructors, the CITs, the facility, and the choice of activities are all fantastic. She has become interested in trying new things, like photography and painting. She cannot wait to go back next summer. What would you change about the program, if anything? It is more expensive than average, although the day is longer is average and they do provide lunch.2014 Summer Camp Review
Program: Classic camp Age of Child: 5 Likes: I liked that it was a full day from 8:30 to 3. I liked that my son got to swim, build blocks, watch the puppet show, etc. I especially liked all the attention that he received from the teachers; 2 teachers and 1 camp counselor for 14 to 17 kids. What would you change? Nothing. The school was bright, teachers engaging, and lots of fun. Would you send your child(ren) again? Yes Do you recommend? Highly recommend Do you have any other information to add?Review from 2013 Summer Camp Experience
Program: Creative Arts Program Age of Child: 7 Likes: The variety and the quality of the classes offered What would you change? Children don't get to see their daily schedule until the first day of camp. Parents are not with children to help them navigate the first day. Not an issue for older children but my 7 year old was unfamiliar with the school and was lost and confused the first week. It was tough convincing her to stick it out. In the end she loved it. I think first time campers should get advance notice of their schedule and a map of the school. Would you send your child(ren) again? Yes Do you recommend? Recommend with reservations
