2019 Birth Survey
Tina Goldstein's support group for new moms at Bend + Bloom has been great.2019 Birth Survey
Did 6 week weekly group for new moms at Bend & Bloom. Highly recommend for getting out and connecting with other new moms.2019 Birth Survey
I joined a Bend & Bloom new parent group and it was the best thing I did post-birth. The moms I met through that group are still my go-to for questions, tips, and general parenting (and non-parenting!) help.2019 Birth Survey
Breastfeeding Support Clinic at Bend and Bloom - This drop in class was convenient to my apartment which was most important to me after having difficulty getting a lactation consultant to come to my apartment right after my birth.Lactation consultant, breastfeeding support groups?
I also have attended a group at Bend and Bloom yoga and was recommended Eden Bertrang http://www.edenbertrang.com/support-groups.html who runs them however the day I went it was one of her associates and I had a totally different issue than that of the other Mothers with newborns there and I didn't feel that woman was as helpful (can't remember her name but it was not Eden herself) however it seemed like she was really good with the other women with very new babies and would be worth checking out if you need someone ASAP as groups are much cheaper than 1-on-1.Lactation consultant, breastfeeding support groups?
There's a weekly breastfeeding group at Bend and Bloom that is amazing -- the lactation consultant has decades of experience and she gives incredibly thoughtful and individualized feedback/advice and I found her to be a nurturing and calming presence. I think she does private consultation and home visits as well.
