Therapist Recommendation
I would recommend either: Karin Genis 474 16th Street Brooklyn, NY 11215 (917)435-1144 karinlgenis@gmail.com or Barbara Rothberg 26 Court St, Suite 1617 Brooklyn, NY 11242 718 499-7574 244 Fifth Ave, Suite 8A New York, NY 10016 212 447-7870 www.barbararothberg.com barbara@barbararothberg.com They are both sensitive and insightful, and specialize in post-divorce parenting. (and probably offer video sessions now.)looking for a divorce mediator
Barbara is a rockstar and if we started with her instead of Green, our life would have been dramatically better. Barbara just doesn’t sit there, she actually listens and hears both sides and thinks in the best interest of the children. She is also a family therapist and has met with my daughter as well which made a huge difference. I can’t say enough about Barbara Rothberg.looking for a divorce mediator

I would highly recommend one session with Barbara. 26 Court St, Suite 1617 Brooklyn, NY 11242 718 499-7574 244 Fifth Ave, Suite 8A New York, NY 10016 212 447-7870 www.barbararothberg.com2018 Review
Barbara Rothberg was incredibly helpful when my ex and I were separating. Our daughter was almost 6 when we separated. I'm not sure there's an ideal age, but it's ideal if you can amicably co-parent. Fortunately, we've been able to do just that. Today, 5 years out, I consider my ex a friend. (I know this is not the norm.)looking for mediator to moderate post-divorce pare...
I have two names to recommend. Both work with couples (or kids) on co-parenting. Barbara Rothberg (barbara@barbararothberg.com) is one. She is an LCSW and has an office at 26 court street. The other is Lauren Behrman (laurenbehrman@gmail.com), who is a PhD clinical psychology. They have different styles, but I've heard great things about both of them and have been impressed with them when they spoke on panels for UNtied. As for divorce coaching, my ex and I went for a few sessions with Barbara Rothberg as we were planning to separate -- she's very practical and to the point, which I really liked, though that style isn't for everyone. She's been doing this for 30 years and it's her main area of expertise, and for me her advice was well worth taking.[Anonymous] Assertive Couples Therapist
Assertive, funny, tough.(no subject)
Barbara Rothberg is your woman! I have a 1 year-old and she's been a tremendous support for me these past few months. Compassionate, smart, never takes notes, remembers everything. August 2012
