Asphalt Green offers swim classes and has a Battery Park location: https://www.asphaltgreen.org/ues/programs/aquatics/swim/ I don't know much about their swim clases, but my daughter swims on their team and it's an extremely well-run organization.

Asphalt Green! They have have facility in Battery Park. The Q train runs all the way up north to their main facilities and has made the commute much easier.

Try Asphalt Green. They have an excellent swimming program.
