  • Spring Break Ceramics Camp?

    ArtShack is great! Highly recommend.
  • Place to fire & glaze pottery

If you’re willing to venture a bit out of the neighborhood, Artshack in Bed Stuy has fantastic programming for kids and families and is just a wonderful community:) Great cafe as a bonus!
  • Date Night Ideas??

We've done the date night at Art Shack ceramic studio in bed stuy, they teach you the basics of using a pottery wheel and fire one of your pieces.
  • Review from the 2022 Summer Camp Survey

Location: 1131 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11216 How old was your child when they attended camp this summer? 6 Review: ArtShack has been great. Each week they explore different mediums and often put on a little show at the end. I love that it is super progressive and that they really let the kids be themselves. It is also nice that it is a small mixed age group with kids from 5 to tweens. Highly recommend!
  • Art classes for mixed ages?

My 6 year old and I did a “family” pottery wheel class at Art Shack last summer, they were very accommodating and responsive to set up for us. My daughter enjoyed it and it was a nice class that we could do together.
  • ISO: pottery classes for 6 year old

I don't know if they have weekend classes for that age group but if they do, Artshack in Bed Stuy is fantastic! My daughter has done their summer camp and spring break camp as a 4/5 year old with no experience and had a blast each time.
  • Review from the 2017 PSP Summer Camp Survey

My son LOVED this pottery camp. The week he attended was mystery week - the artists were amazingly child centered and skilled at creating interest in the mystery while helping the campers to make great pieces of pottery. He looked forward to going every day and now that camp is over still talks about returning next summer. Age of child: 9 Based on a Summer 2017 experience
