  • Teen art/drawing class

Check out AWE - Art Workshop Experience in DUMBO Marney is limiting the number of kids she’s taking in person, but this summer is also offering a virtual camp with more instruction. My child has been attending AWE for a number of years (she’s now 15 & goes to an arts high school) and always loved the opportunity to experiment with any number of art forms on offer at AWE. Highly recommend.
  • Weekday art class for tween

In Dumbo, you could look into AWE - Art Workshop Experience. My daughter has gone for years and still loves going, even as she is in an "arts" high school. AWE works like an open studio, where you can do whatever you want with whatever medium you choose. My kids loves the freedom! (September 2019)
  • summer art camp?

My daughter has attended Art Workshop Experience (AWE) for several summers & after school. It is totally focused on the visual arts. The format is an open studio where the kids can choose any art form they so desire on which to work. There may be some informal critiques or assistance, but it’s mostly self directed. My kid loves the freedom it provides. There is a wide age range, but my kid began when she was about 10.
