  Kimm Sun is an extraordinary nurse midwife who’s specializes in homebirth. If my circumstances aligned for homebirth she would’ve been my top choice. But we DID visit with her for a gentle manual version to try and spin our breech baby. It was not scary or painful at all and she put me at complete ease. She had a 2nd midwife use ultrasound and heart monitors to watch the baby while she manual encouraged him to turn in multiple directions. Ultimately our son was so comfortable in his breech position and when we delivered him via c section we realized that his big size and possible cord tangling were likely keeping him in place. But my interaction and connection with these practitioners gave me a true sense of their excellence.

  Kimm is an amazing midwife! I can't recommend planning a home birth with Kimm highly enough. The level of personal attention and care is incredible compared to everyone else I know who worked with an OB or hospital-based midwife. All of our prenatal visits were at least 1.5 hours long (and in the third trimester she came to our home for visits). She is so caring while also being pretty straightforward/no nonsense and also extremely knowledgeable and skilled at her work! She is so committed her her clients making informed decisions about their births. Also, for postpartum care she makes sure you get lots of visits in the first week not only from her but also from a lactation consultant (that is included in her care), as well as an acupuncturist herbalist (also included in her care), etc. I am so glad I chose to have my baby at home with Kimm's guidance and expertise.
