HELLLOOOO??? Welcome May 2020 Families!For workouts, I've been continuing my regular yoga practice but have been mixing it with pre-natal classes, mostly at Bend & Bloom and Area Yoga --both studios a great and the teachers have been very knowledgeable and supportive about modifications for pregnancy in their regular classes. (January 2020)

2018 Birth SurveyArea Yoga in Brooklyn Heights has great prenatal yoga classs, which I attended for the duration of my pregnancy. They also have a prenatal massage therapist named Jodi operating out of their space, and she is really, really terrific.

[October2017Babies] Prenatal Massage in Park Slope?Not Park Slope, but I really like Jody at Area Yoga in Brooklyn Heights - and she's been able to see me on really short notice.

[October2017Babies] Sacrum Pain!I was having lumbar, thigh and butt pain and a prenatal massage from Jody at Area Yoga on Montague Street really helped. She also did an assessment of my posture and gave some tips including sleeping with a body pillow. Jody has a great bedside manner - it was a great experience.
