Seeking recommendations after postpartum preeclampsia
Preeclampsia is scary! I had it too and had to be hospitalized for almost three weeks before the birth of my child, and for a week after. I went to Dr. Noelia Zork at The Mother's Center, part of NYPresbyterian/Columbia. She is a preeclampsia hound and so thorough, so supportive, so available - I cannot recommend her highly enough! Dr. Anita Lasala is also superb. The Mother's Center is interdisciplinary and connects you with specialists as needed; they also offers support groups and counselors, and have an excellent, donor-funded pre-natal care unit if you need to be hospitalized for monitoring before giving birth (as was my experience). Here's a link: https://www.nyp.org/womens/pregnancy-and-birth/the-mothers-center They also offer a voluntary (and really great) yearlong post-natal care program to support mothers and parents who had a high-risk birth, and continue monitoring them for any warning signs. I'm in that program now and am so happy with the care.Looking for high-risk OB recommendation

Dr. Lasala provides excellent care. She is personable and extremely knowledgeable - I knew I was in good hands.Review submitted via the 2016 Birth Survey
I could not have received better care from LaSala's team of doctors. Dorothy Smok delivered the baby. She managed a difficult delivery with extreme professionalism. Based on April 2016 birthing experience
