Review from the Spring 2022 Birthing Survey
I saw Dr. Gardner through both of my pregnancies. He and his staff are extremely caring and available for questions/concerns. He speaks very quickly and can seem bit brusque, but he's very supportive of patient preferences. I had some complications following my second birth that required me to go to his office at 4 days post-partum and he opened early multiple times to see me at a time that best suited me. He also always returns calls within a few hours and is a solo practitioner who performs all scans himself.HELLLOOOO??? Welcome May 2020 Families!
Subject: HELLLOOOO??? Welcome May 2020 Families! Comment: i am being seen by a solo ob practitioner, andrew gardner, who i really like so far. (January 2020)2018 Birth Survey
Dr. Gardner was great - super responsive and understanding about all of my questions and concerns. He’s a bit encyclopedic, but not at all cold. He ended up being away when I delivered, but in all our conversations made it clear that he would follow my wishes as much as the circumstances would allow and never pressured me into anything.Review submitted via the PSP Birth Survey
Brusque and quick, but thorough. Based on a 10/2016 birthing experience.Review submitted via the Park Slope Parents 2017 Birth Survey
Extremely competent solo practitioner. Lovely office staff. Fit me in for appointments whenever needed. Very responsive on the weekends. Non-alarmist attitude. Cons: shabby office; seemingly antiquated equipment (sent me out to another office for significant scans - but that may be common practice, I don't really have something to compare it); limited bedside manner (i.e. dry humor, talks fast) - but always felt comfortable and confident in him. Based on a August 2017 birthing experience.
