    Alba on Nevins and Union! The owner is Carlos. I've been bringing cars to him for 15 years and he and his team have always been fair, honest and quick. And he lets my three-year-old raise and lower the hydraulic lift which pretty much makes his year. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

    I like Alba on Nevins around union in gowanus. There's a Citi bike station across the street too if that helps you get home! They have great yelp reviews and I find them honest. Bring cash and save money.

    I strongly second the recommendation for Alba. We have used them since their earlier location on 4th. Dimitri (owner) and Carlos (manager) are both very honest and skilled. They provide accurate estimates and will not recommend unnecessary repairs. At the time, we had a VW but I've taken my father-in- law's Toyota minivan and will not hesitate to take in my new Subaru Forester when the time comes. They work on many make and models.     I had a great experience at Alba Auto Repair. My brakes needed to be fixed and they quoted me HALF the price of another place a block away, even with domestic parts. They even gave me two price options - a cheaper one using imported parts or more expensive with American parts. The brakes were fixed in one day. (Recommended 01/10)
