Age for Stage

Description

Think of it:

The moment you did the moon walk and people gathered.
The moment you rocked the interview.
The moment when you knew that everyone in the room was with you.

It all comes from confidence. And it is built here.

All of life’s great moments arrive at that perfect combination of timing and practice. We take that great silly moment where your kid makes you laugh hysterically and the one where they drive you just a little bit nuts and turn it into theater. And when many kids play together, they create something even bigger and more fun.

Art, Sports, Games, Songs, Dance - Everything your kid did today. Come and play!

Our six-year-old daughter absolutely adores the age-for-stage program. She’s always fully engaged when we pick her up. We’re thrilled that it’s a mixed-age group. She’s also made excellent progress on the keyboard!

My kid takes private piano lessons at Age for Stage, but we usually get there early and have a chance to watch the afterschool group in action and it looks like So Much Fun! The adults are very hands on and the kids are always engaged in whatever activity they’re doing. I’ve seen them do cool craft projects and work on their theatrical productions. We love seeing bits of their performances while we’re waiting. If my kid were into that sort of thing, I’d definitely take advantage. Incidentally, if you’re looking for private music lessons, i recommend them wholeheartedly!

REVIEW: Both my daughter 6 and son 4, were picked up from school and had private one on one piano lessons every Tuesday at Age for Stage followed by art and games. Leslie and Ken who run this program are phenomenal, kind, caring and just the best. My kids came home so excited and happy and absolutely loved it. It’s very helpful that they keep the kids until 6pm after the lessons too. At the end of the semester, there was a recital and it was the so amazing to see both kids so proud to show their skills and progress. Love love love age for stage! Skills learned: Playing piano and made great friends! What would you change? It’s absolutely perfect, I would not change a thing ! Age of child: 4 & 6

REVIEW: My daughter loved the spring break camp. They did various activities, went to the park for outdoor play, crafts in the afternoon; but what she enjoyed most was forming a band and writing songs. (Did she really play an instrument, no, although they do give lessons) but she still sings the song she and the other kids wrote 6+ weeks later. Skills learned: It was a great way for her to work with the other kids taking turns playing various instruments and getting a feel for violins, guitars, drums and piano. She expressed interest in taking violin lessons but we are waiting until she’s a bit older to start. What would you change? None Age of child: 5
