What month and year was your child born? July 2022 Review: Dr. Ng was my gyno before birth and because I love her and stayed with this practice (despite it being on UES). I loved my experience! I got to know all of the doctors so I didn’t have my baby delivered by a stranger (even though I was a week and a half early). They do an ultrasound at every appointment and while this may be costly for some depending on insurance, I really appreciated having that peace of mind. They listened to me, never pressured me, and treated my partner well too!Review from the Summer 2022 Birthing Survey
What month and year was your child born? February 2022 Review: 1060 was recommended to me by several doulas which I think says a lot. I had a gestational diabetes diagnosis that was being mismanaged by another practice so I switched to 1060 and was super happy that I did. They took my diagnosis seriously without scaring me and partnered with an mfm practice. I found all of the doctors to be easy to talk to, responsive and patient. I also never had any long waits. Dr. DiGregorio ended up being the one to deliver my baby and she really put me at ease. I trusted her judgement and advice. She was very communicative, honest and calm. She also gave me great direction when pushing which I believe helped me to deliver very quickly. It was a relief to feel like I was in good hands with a doctor that I trusted. I never thought I would be as calm as I was delivering (especially given that I unexpectedly needed to be induced on the spot at 37 weeks due to a complication) which speaks volumes about Dr GiGregorio. What month and year was your child born? May 2022 Review: Excellent practice - loved my experience leading up to birth and during delivery. There are 4 excellent female doctors and 1 female nurse practitioner as apart of the practice. You rotate through all during your appointments as who you'll deliver with is ultimately up to whoever is on call. I delivered with Dr. Elliston and had a phenomenal experience - she is a great communicator and I felt very well taken care of. I had a wonderful experience with 1060 leading up to birth. They were always providing me with options and although they recommended induction due to large size, I never felt pressured. They were responsive and sensitive to any questions I brought up. The birth and postpartum care however was a bit different. I was in labor for 36 hours, and pushed for three hours - I probably saw my doctor a total of 10 mins during that whole time. Postpartum, I had issues with swelling, fever, abdominal pain and inability to eat, and did not feel like my questions were taken seriously. I felt very much alone in the decision of whether to go back to the hospital or not. I cannot recommend 1060 OBYGN enough. They are the best. Unless you need specialized care, you will end up seeing all doctors in the practice, which I really appreciated and helped me feel ready for labor. Every single one of my questions was always answered, and I felt they really actually listened to me during my appointments. I had to use the on-call number on a weekend and it was answered immediately by one of my doctors. Also, all of the doctors did their residency at Lennox Hill, which gave me so much comfort going into delivery as they are intimately familiar with the hospital.
