City Kid Tutors is our in home tutoring service for children ages 2 to grade 8. We offer private, 1:1 educational services on a range of subjects by an elite group of teachers. After we administer an initial assessment, we provide clients with a written and/or oral report of the session that outlines the child’s academic performance and observed behaviors/work habits. We then use this data to create a tutoring plan and set differentiated goals for the child. Thereafter, our tutors guide students through a rigorous schedule of work to ensure growth towards the students’ selected goals. Tutors provide families with oral and written feedback, as well as equip them with strategies of how to best support their child at home.
We will work with you beforehand to find our more about your child and what you are looking for in tutor and tailor your first free session based on our discussion!

Phonics and spelling using a program that fits your child’s learning needs. Programs we use include Orton Gillingham, Fundations, and Writing Without Tears.
