Family members of all ages are invited to join the celebration on Ballet Hispánico Way at West 89th Street from Amsterdam Avenue to the front door of Ballet Hispánico’s headquarters for live music, dancing, and food from local vendors on the street and, inside the headquarters, for performances by the professional Company and students from the School of Dance, free dance classes, and so much more!

Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15 to October 15, celebrates the histories, cultures and contributions of Hispanic Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. We have planned a series of exciting events and activities to celebrate this month.

NYC Parks welcomes Hispanic Heritage Month with Mi Parque Mi Tierra, on view at the Arsenal Gallery in Central Park. This exhibition features nearly two dozen artworks that explore Latino culture and celebrate the environmental, aesthetic, and recreational benefits of green spaces in New York City and beyond.

Ballet Hispánico, the nation’s largest Latinx dance organization and one of America’s Cultural Treasures, celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with a robust and engaging programming line-up anchored by the organization’s annual A La Calle Block Party. The festivities will include live performances from Ballet Hispánico’s Pa'lante Scholars and students from the School of Dance, as well as free dance classes, live music, and food from local vendors.
The Panamanian Parade celebrates and honors the leaders, educators, artists, and celebrities that have left a cultural footprint on this nation.
