Neighborhood Halloween Traditions

We asked PSP members what's good in their neighborhood for Halloween. Here are their insights!

Crown Heights / Prospect Lefferts Gardens

"I live in Crown Heights, right over the PLG border. Halloween is a BIG deal in PLG. The 71st precinct usually puts on a safe walk for trick or treating. They close several streets to traffic starting at about 5:00. The safe walk usually starts at Lincoln Road and goes to Rutland, from Flatbush to Rogers. The home owners on these streets go all out with decorations and candy. It’s really fun! The precinct usually puts out the exact route and timing a couple weeks before Halloween."
