Comment:  I've done Stitch Fix for very specific special events requests - where I had to be on stage at a conference. Each time, I've found 1-2 items from the box that not only look good, but get me TONS of compliments (like last time, random woman in the subway complimenting me on my dress and wanting to know where I got it, as well as multiple people at the conference).I definitely agree that the quality is not as great for the price - like a $150 dress can probably be found somewhere else for $80-90. But that said, the superior fit and style balances it out for me, especially given that I'm doing this for an "occasion" and received a personalized styling recommendation. Reminder I need to do again for my next event!

Comment:  I'm adding another opinion on stitch fix - I used to do it pre-pregnancy and wasn't sure if I'll go back, but since I didn't find time to actually go shopping (I literally have a gift card from my mother-in-law for one of my favorite stores in my wallet since May...) I ordered another stitch fix box and ended up purchasing all the pieces. They even sent me pants which I was highly doubtful of but I love them and they fit perfectly! If you do purchase all 5 items you get a significant discount (20 or 25%), which can make it very worthwhile. I also liked that these are not the normal pieces I would go for in a store, and also that they are not the pieces that my colleagues will have as well (I have to text one of my colleagues when I wear one of the many things I know she has as well from well-known brands...).

Comment:  I tried Stitch Fix and didn't like it. I felt like the quality of clothes (especially the material, which felt like hard cotton that would pill after a couple of wears) were subpar for the price and even after I did a style profile, the items they sent seemed way off. I know others who love it so it may be worth trying to see what you think.

Comment:  I found that I was disappointed by the quality of Stitchfix clothes, personally. I have also started to care a lot more about where and how clothes are made, and their ecological and human impact. For that reason, I really like MM Lafleur and Everlane, which make their clothes in ways that are ethical for people and the planet. Both have in-person styling options and MM Lafleur has a web-based option as well. Bonus points to MM Lafleur for being almost all machine-washable, even things that definitely look like they would be dry clean only.

Comment:  I started using Stitch Fix just this year and absolutely LOVE it! It's so convenient to just have new clothes show up to your door. You get to choose the budget you feel comfortable with and how often you receive new styles. It's truly been a lifesaver for me as I struggle to find the time to shop and also pick things that work for me. I've been really pleasantly surprised at how spot on the options are for me. To be honest, I had my doubts at first but they have exceeded my expectations. I always get pieces I would have never chosen for myself but absolutely love. So refreshing and I don't have to do any of the work!

Comment:  As a fellow shorter woman (5’3”), I’ve had a lot of luck with Stitch Fix. Their pants especially fit me better consistently than any other brands I’ve previously tried out. It took a few boxes to get my style right, but since then, I love almost everything they send me. You get 5 items in each shipment, shipping & returns are free, there’s a small styling fee but when you purchase anything that fee is deducted from total cost. I’ve used it more for casual every day wear (I work from home and own a fitness business), so I can’t give as much feedback on their business attire. I’ve gotten some nice dresses from them too though!I have no business affiliation with them. I’ve just been super impressed with the selection, quality and pricing. It totally helped me update my wardrobe post baby #1 (and natural postpartum physical changes) too!

Comment:  I had a good experience with Stitch Fix the last time I needed decent clothes. There is a ton of customization so you should be able to get some pieces that fit well. I am short, curvy, and busty, and 4 of the 5 clothing options looked great.
