Comment:  I can’t emphasize enough how much this class helped my labor and birth experience! I was so scared of birthing and this class changed my whole perspective and approach and helped me to enter labor peacefully. The method of trusting your body and releasing tension I think really helped my labor progress very quickly and smoothly and I ended up needing NO medical interventions. Sara’s hypnobirthing class helped me have a healthy, peaceful, and empowering birth experience.

Comment:  I really enjoyed Sara's classes (& calming voice!). The one I went to was over 4 Sunday evenings at the Brooklyn Birthing Center. There were a fairly diverse group of couples taking the course. I had planned a homebirth & ended up with a hospital one, but I felt the breathing techniques, lessons, skills, & hand-outs/materials prepared me well.

Comment:  I took hypnobirthing classes with Sara Kramer for my first and had a great experience. It taught a lot of meditation and breathing exercises to teach you to calm yourself during birth. I took it because I wanted to do an unmedicated birth, but I think it will still be helpful if you choose any other option. The class I took was in kensington so not too far from park slope. They also had a classes in crown heights around the same time as mine I remember. I think location varies depending on where people would like to take the classes.

Comment:  Sara is very sweet, supportive, and set my mind at ease with the thought of giving birth for the first time. The class helps you practice and find ways to relax and enter into a meditative state while in labor. I used the techniques for 14 hrs unmedicated hours. The other 10 hours I got an epidural and ended up with an assisted birth due to my baby getting caught under my pelvic bone.
