Comment:  This is a very special camp run by amazing people. The camp started 3 summers ago with 6 families. Romy Feder is the founder and was a teacher at the Prospect Heights Montessori. This year they expanded to 2 weeks and not just one. My daughter who found out she was dyslexic over this time period, loves it. They believe in bringing poetry into children's lives which is no easy task. They do all sorts of group building activities in the park, go to library, BK museum and this summer did ellis island and Statue of Liberty. At the end of the summer, the children had a reading at a local bookstore. For the younger campers who are still learning to write, or a child like my daughter, there is plenty of support. It is a wonderful special camp that my daughter looks forward to. It is her favorite over Robot Foundry, Berkely Carroll.....She has done many local camps. If you could change anything, what would it be? For them to be able to run for 4 weeks, not 2.Age of child: 5-7Based on a Summer 2017 experience
