Comment:  Ashley was a wonderful introduction to childbirth. She went through the labor process, which was great for a first time mom, and gave suggestions on what to do in The class was fairly long - 13 hours - which led my husband to grumble, but I'm overall grateful for having taken it, even if some parts of the newborn care unit could have been skipped.

Comment:  We had a private, at home session with Ashley and she was amazing. Totally factual, does not share her personal views and so let's you make your own birthing plan that's right for you. Very good at making you feel at ease and comfortable. Gave very tangible tips and advice.

Comment:  We took the intensive birthing class at Mt. Sinai West and it was all we needed. I loved our instructor, Ashley Britcher, and felt as prepared as I probably could afterward.

Comment:  A compassionate and warm introduction to childbirth. I loved the small class size. Everyone felt empowered to ask all sorts of questions, no matter how small or crazy.

Comment:  Fig Tree / Ashley BritcherThe class was very good and informative. We did an all-day intensive class and it was nice to get all the information in one shot. My husband probably benefitted from the class more than I did, since I had already been doing my own research and talking to other moms for months before we attended the class. For him, a lot of the information was new.Based on an October 2017 birthing experience.

Comment:  I'm so happy I took a class with Ashley! I was so late in my pregnancy when I started looking for classes that everything was booked or scheduled right around my due date, but Ashley offered to do a private class in my home (which was great, since we did a home birth. However, Ashley tailors her classes and resources for home and hospital births so everyone is covered). In the class, I learned just how much I didn't know about the process of labor and birth! There was so much information, but Ashley paced it in such a way that I never felt overwhelmed. She teaches in a very holistic way, encompassing the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of childbirth. She also taught us a number of pain relieving massages and exercises and laboring positions, almost all of which I used and found very helpful. This class made me feel so prepared for childbirth, it was incredible!
