Subject:  Hooked Restaurant

Comment:  I would love to give a shoutout to Hooked (on 12th St and 8th Ave) My son’s baseball team wanted to have a celebration for the end of the season last weekend after their championship game. The parent who organized the event said that they were lovely, and very accommodating. They worked with her to make a VERY reasonably priced menu and added grilled cheese that was not actually on the restaurant menu. They served the kids heaping plates of food served family style, with board games and a nice long table the kids had a great time. (you know you’re in Park Slope when the kids are playing chess at their baseball party)!! There were also appetizers for the adults (that many of the kids also enjoyed). The food was delicious and plentiful.When it started to downpour 30 minutes before game time we contacted the restaurant and they told us we could come in right then. The ease with which they switched gears to accommodate us was wonderful and made it much easier for all of us! We had the whole bar area on the side of the restaurant on 12th Street. While we were there they were patient and kind with the kids (and the grown ups).I have no affiliation with the restaurant I just want to let you all know that we had a really great experience at a relatively new place and I hope they do well!
