Subject:  Review submitted via the PSP 2016 PreK Survey

Comment:  Review: The hours are 8:10am to 2:30pm and a one hour nap. There is early drop off in the cafeteria with a sibling (7:30am). Breakfast is brought to the room in the morning and lunch in the afternoon. The class size is small (22) and the population diverse. There are 3 teachers in the room at all times, 2 teachers and a Para. The primary teacher was out for the first 3 months, so the class was pretty hectic. The teacher has returned and it seems much better. The Pre-K program in NYC DOE schools does not allow for students to practice their writing much, it is play based at this point. That being said I would have kept my daughter in the program that she was in before if I had it to do all over. I feel like she is bored and the resources are lacking in the public system. UPK programs outside the public schools seem to be better run and have more options.About the facility: Has outdoor space, Has early morning hours, Provides mealsWhat would you change about the program, if anything, and why?
