Comment:  I had a wonderful experience in Labor and Delivery (though we waited for a while in triage- my water broke with no contractions or dilation initially). The nurses were incredible, the space was big and modern, I felt supported and taken care of. I had less of a positive experience in the post-pardum side, with nurses who were less attentive, who had less of a bedside manner, and security who made my husband leave after visiting hours in what felt an overly aggressive manner.Based on 9/16 birth experience

Comment:  We actually got to the hospital very late in my labor (arrived at 7:15pm, got rushed up to the birthing center, and our baby was born at 7:27pm!). Even though I didn't get to labor much in the birthing center, it was very nice and lovely to have that big bed and share it with my partner. The second night we were moved to labor and delivery. In both rooms we had a great experience with the nurses and other hospital staff. Based on November 2016 birth experience

Comment:  Excellent facility- clean, good staff, very little wait time on delivery floor and even better on recovery floor. Only dislike was the number of times they asked me my pain level, and in general they are more conservative and prone to interventions Recommend? Highly recommend Insurance: no issuesBased on a November 2015 birth

Comment:  The hospital has greatly improved since the birth of my other son into 2013, which I attribute to being acquired by Mount Sinai. There is a lactation consultant on staff and daily breast-feeding support groups. That really helped in establishing breast-feeding and troubleshooting problems before I left the hospital. Recommend Yes no problem with insurance. They take GHI and I was able to pay my hospital bill onlineBased on a Nov 2015 birth.
