Comment: We had my daughter's baptism at Berg'n. They have a great private space and great food. They were super helpful and let us decorate and lay out the room as we wanted.

Comment: Berg'n! Though they may require you to use their food vendors for at least some of the food. I believe the private room has access to at least part of the courtyard.
Subject: Has anyone been to Berg'n (in Crown Hts) with small kids?
Comment: it's totally chill about kids and the place is so large and noisy that kids don't add to the melee. I have been there at night, mid day and early evening (when it's truly dead) and we've just grabbed food and hung out and never had a problem.

Comment: To my knowledge there are no high chairs our little guy stayed in the stroller. They are baby friendly but it really does depend on the time you go, we were there on a Friday afternoon and it was empty very surprising but then on a rainy Saturday afternoon its' packed. Maybe in the summer it won't be so crowded with people away on vacation.

Comment: I think it all depends on what time you're thinking. We were there last fall early in the morning - probably around 10 - with our then 2.5 year old. It was definitely a place full of kids. Not sure if high chairs were available but it wouldn't surprise me if they were. Think of it as a hipster coffee shop and food court in one. Those without kids in tow roll in later and it was definitely full by the time we left. I imagine the later you go, the less kid-friendly, more drinking friendly it gets.

Comment: Not sure about high chairs but a number of the baby groups meet there during the week and a number of friends have taken their older (but still little) kids there. Generally very kid friendly and one of the bartenders is even a doula! I believe weekends can be quite busy and it can be hard to get a table so you may do better during the week.(who's first experience nursing in public happened at Berg'n...)
