Comment:  We’ve had our 8 month old son enroll in Yoko’s daycare and we love it so far. My son is never crying at drop off and doesn’t ever seem to want to go home when I come to pick him up. It makes me feel at ease knowing that he’s comfortable there. The caretakers are gentle, fun and engaging. They follow his naps and feeding schedules well and they let me know when he’s making major milestones in his development. Our son is half Japanese and the caretakers speak to him primarily in Japanese all day, which we love. About the facility: Has outdoor space, Has early morning hours, Provides meals.

Comment:  Age: < 1 year Review: I have nothing but positives to say. My daughter started daycare at 9.5months, in the midst of major separation anxiety. Yoko, Atsuko, and all the caregivers were calm and supportive towards all of us, and just as they said, by two week we went from sobbing, arms outstretched, crying "mama! mama!" to cuddling in Atsuko's arms, reaching out to the other babies, and smiling when I kiss her goodbye. Even. More remarkably, and maybe I should have lead with this, they got my daughter on the bottle! She had been rejecting everything save the breast since 4 months. You can imagine our anxiety as I prepared to go back to work! Within two weeks she was also taking a bottle. I also have to say, she has not gotten sick the way other children I know have while at daycare. In addition, the bigger kids are so sweet to her (and each other)-I love seeing what nice children they are and how the caregivers gently reinforce positive social behavior. Advice? Fit matters a lot-for your kid and you.

Subject:  PSP Daycare Review: Good daycare means.....Happy Baby = Happy Parents = Happy Life
Comment:  After a long term of researching and scheduling tours with day-care facilities, we finally found the fitting one. "Yokos Daycare". Our gut feeling told us instantly that this place would be just perfect for our baby boy (now 8 months). The place offers musical interaction (for and with kids), reading and craft sessions and the homemade food/snacks. Also we were very interested in the bilingual interaction among the day-care and kids (English-Japanese). We also love the fact that we as parents can access pictures of our child throughout the day (playing, eating and napping, interacting with other babies). Furthermore, I would like to highlight the loving and nurturing treatment that each kid gets at Yoko's. Yoko is very professional and has many years of experience in child care. She also accommodates our wishes to our complete satisfaction, so does her team. It is very easy to communicate with each employee, which is very important to me and my husband. Our son loves going to Yoko's daycare. There is not a single day once dropping him off that he is not exited or happy. We appreciate the effort that Yoko and her team is putting into to keep kids and parents happy. We highly recommend Yoko's!Thank you Yoko and team!

Comment:  Yoko cared for our daughter at her previous daycare, then left to start her own. When we needed fill-in drop-off care, Yoko’s was our first choice - our daughter absolutely loves Yoko and has a wonderful time every time she stays there. She has created a caring, nurturing environment with enough structure to keep things running smoothly, but with a lot of personalized attention and loving care for each child. I highly recommend Yoko’s Daycare!

Comment:  My two-year-old son has been at Yoko's for about two months, and we are very happy there. It is a small, intimate daycare (about 6 to 8 kids for now, but I think she plans to go up to 12), the kids range in age, and Yoko and her two other staff members are warm and really seem to love what they do. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are included, which they cook from scratch. There are plenty of books and toys, as well as a keyboard. Every day the weather is nice the kids go outside to play in the backyard, where there is a swing set and sand/water table. I often get pictures throughout the morning of my son playing, eating, and reading books, which always bring a smile to my face! Yoko has also been very accommodating if we need a late pickup or more hours one week. Highly recommend!

Comment:  My 2 year old son has been in Yoko's Daycare for the past 2 months. He loves it. His day starts off with a healthy breakfast (that she cooks based on what he requests). Then they go out to her backyard to play. She is sure to send me a picture or two through out the day.Yoko is great with the children. She also has another caregiver based on how many children are in attendance. It's a nurturing place for my son to be and I couldn't be happier.I highly recommend Yoko's Daycare. I'm not sure how many more spots she has, but I'm sure it will fill up soon.

Comment:   Yoko has been babysitting my daughter since she was a small baby. I consider myself truly lucky to have my daughter in Yoko’s care. When Yoko told me about her plans to open her own daycare I was super excited and immediately made plans to enroll her. She’s been going there only during weekends for now. Because she was teaching at the Daisy Daycare when she started her own daycare and I had already had my daughter in the other care. I have to work during weekends and finding a daycare that is open on weekends makes things super convenient.Yoko is full of warmth, kindness and patience and she brings same philosophy to her daycare. The daycare space is awesomely cozy, clean and inviting with bright colors, books, toys and a huge backyard! Yoko makes sure that she is spending her time in an intellectually stimulating environment where she feels comfortable, is well fed and happy. Also, I am Japanese and for me it is important that my daughter will learn Japanese. Yoko gives her Japanese lessons and she has already picked up so many words and even sings songs in Japanese. I am happy because I know that my daughter is in a loving place where she is engaged, happy, learning and growing in a truly wonderful atmosphere
