Comment:  This is a venue that our baby groups frequent so while we don’t have an exact review we have a thumbs up from our groups! 2019

Comment:  This is Fort Greene, but Der Schwartze Kolner (DSK) has baby happy hour Tues and Thurs (well attended, toys and play area for older babies) and is baby friendly in general. I believe they also have live kids' music sometimes.

Comment:  Also in fort green- Die Stammkneipe/ Der Schwarze Koelner, a beer hall. They have a changing table in the bathroom and a little play area for babies. They also have a sign on the window saying they are breastfeeding friendly. They do have a 10 dollar (I think) minimum for moms (maybe parents too - I've only been there with ladies) which is kind of annoying although I understand they don't want mommy/parent groups camping out without ordering much.

Comment:  I love the idea of DSK and the first time we went on a Wednesday a few weeks ago and a lot of April mommies showed up. As the babies get older and want to move around, DSK is a great spot for mommies to meet. I was out of town for a couple of weeks but plan to go next week. I'm also trying to organize a playgroup at my house so depending on what day that will be, I'll be able to do DSK on another day. DSK may have also added a day so they have Babies and Bier on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays now. I can ask the April mommies if any of them are going regularly and see if there is more than one day a week, they'll be one of us there or you could just post it as an event? We're still figuring out my son's nap schedule so we're not sure what time we'll get there but DSK is from 2 to 5:30 p.m. There definitely seems to be more babies the later in the afternoon and they've added a sing-a-long on Wednesdays at 4:30 pm. The sing-a-long makes it tricky to relax and chat with other mommies so we may either go before or after or on another day.
