    Description:

Camp Ballibay is a true haven for young people with a love for the arts, and a perfect choice for families seeking a safe, friendly, and creative arts camp for their kids to explore the visual arts, dance, theater, or rock music. We offer deep, engaging programs for young artists at all levels in a traditional summer arts camp setting. Young artists ages 8-16 come from all over North and South America, Europe, and Asia to spend 2-7 weeks on our pristine mountaintop campus in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Established in 1964, we have a long history as a diverse, tolerant, and safe camp for creative kids. Since 2011 we've been the #1-rated arts camp in North America.

Comment:  Program: Fine and Performing Arts Age of Child: 9 Likes: My daughter, entering fifth grade, loved everything about this camp-- it offers a large range of options to learn new skills, do horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, participate in dance and theater offerings, etc. It is all personal choice but the kids also have down time with their bunkmates and develop friendships within the bunk and around the camp based on shared interests and passions. My daughter learned to do pottery, guitar and tap dancing, performed in a jazz dance piece, had a role in a musical and learned to trot on a horse. It is a relatively small camp (I think 150 campers maximum per session) so everyone gets to know everybody else and it seems to have a very warm, supportive atmosphere. What would you change? Would you send your child(ren) again? Yes Do you recommend? Highly recommend
