Comment:  The Brooklyn Children's Museum in Crown Heights is a great spot for indoor play on the weekend (especially if you have a car to get over there), though it can get crowded. The tots area is terrific.

Comment:  I'll second that. Our daughter has been there a few times with her father (she's now 15 months, and doesn't walk yet) and they've had great fun, with photos to prove it.

Comment:  Our guys are 21 months, and they love it. It's really a blast. There are a couple sand boxes as well as a whole toddlers' area with a water feature for them to splash in (they get rubber smocks to stay somewhat dry, but their shoes get soaked), an art class, toys, dress up, and things to climb and pound on. They can sit in the driver's seat of a bus and turn the wheel. We've been there twice and haven't even gotten to everything.
