Comment:  Sheri is super knowledgeable. She was easy to work with and made appointments enjoyable. She’s flexible with making appointments and figuring out how you want to work with her (one off or as a monthly package). I’m glad I worked with her!

Comment:  My OB recommended the DVD Laugh and Learn about Childbirth by Sheri Bayles. She is a retired labor and delivery nurse that practiced at NY Presbyterian for awhile. You can rent it from Netflix (our parents happen to still do DVD rentals!) or buy it on amazon.I’ve found it to be very helpful and informative—highly recommend!

Comment:  Member Review: My husband and I had a tough time finding a child birth class we were excited about at a time that worked for us. Based on a coworkers suggestion, we ended up buying this DVD (it looks like it can be downloaded now versus having to hassle with a DVD). Don't get me wrong, the video is a little dated and pretty corny. However, the actual content is very clear and informative. I highly recommend that people consider this route if they are not quite sold on popping for a class. My husband and I watched the info at our own pace, which meant when we didn't want to focus, we could take a break. Compared to a bunch of my Park Slope moms who took classroom classes, I think we were just as prepared for childbirth. (Review submitted via the 2014 Birthing Survey)Insurance details: n/a

Comment:  Response to a request for a recommendation for a Birthing Class, preferably for twins:Sherri Bayles is the guru of multiples. She leads an incredibly informative class and makes herself available in and out of class. We found her information to be invaluable. Twins are treated VERY differently than singletons in a hospital setting, so I think a multiples class is the only thing worth your while. She does not post her classes on the web, so you have to call her directly and leave a message 203-853-4812.(September 2011)
